Good design lies in the heart of fine furniture and craftsmanship and AL MUFTAH Carpentry has it all. It started in 1975 as a family owned furniture making company and has developed into one of the most admired names in the furniture manufacturing industry in the State of Qatar.
From a modest 7000 sq.m workshop in Al Wakrah town and with a team of roughly 30 highly skilled carpenters and painters, AL MUFTAH Carpentry has built an unequaled reputation for excellence.
Since its inception, it has become one of the most respected brand names in the furniture world. Over the last 3 decades we have grown from strength to strength growing tenfold in the last 10 years. Our present factory occupies an area of 15,000 square meters equipped with the latest woodworking machineries backed by over 300 fully trained engineers and technicians enabling us to be cost effective without compromising the quality which AL MUFTAH Carpentry is known for.

Mr. Tarek Shehab
A highly dedicated General Manager of more than 22 years working experience. A determine leader, goal oriented and ambitious, Mr. Shehab spearheaded various well known industry group in UAE, KSA, Egypt and Qatar.
He took a Post Graduate Degree in Applied Arts Major in Interior Designing and Furniture from one of Egypt Top Ten Universities – HELWAN UNIVERSITY which further honed his professional skills in formulating business strategies, marketing, supply chain management and operations he is also AMP and ISO Certified. Among his other expertise aside from establishing businesses of factories, asset investment and strategy, he got a network of capable suppliers and dealers in different regions that requires high systematic approach and knowledge of the region trends to meet clients needs and projects expectations.
Mr. Ehab Hassaan
Mr. Ehab Hassaan, joined Almuftah Carpentry in 2014 for the position of Marketing & Sales Manager. Confident, creative and highly qualified Marketing & Sales Manager with more than 18 years of distinguished performance in the marketing, sales & media industry in Dubai, Saudi Arabia & Egypt. Broad-based background encompasses exceptional work ethic and commitment to organizational objectives within a highly competitive and rapidly changing marketplace. Proactive manager, team builder and tactical planner with ability to attract and secure key players in building strong and lasting business relationships. Recognized for decisive leadership and proven ability to face challenges head-on and execute sound decisions while directing product launches. Core Strengths include; Competitive Market Analysis, Economics & Financial Analysis, Strategic Planning Skills, B2B Strategy & Development and Excellent Negotiation Skills.”
Mr. Arnel Dela Cruz
Mr. De la Cruz began his career in Manila, Philippines as a Civil Engineer. With More than 26 years of extensive experience in both construction and manufacturing industry, he joined Al Jeraisy Furniture Industry based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last 1993 and moved to Bahrain year 2004 later for seven years before joining Al Muftah Carpentry last December of 2011 to be their Technical Manager. Some of the projects under his portfolio are the Ministry of Housing of Kingdom of Bahrain and Bahrain Defense Force Housing Project to name a few.
Mr. Mohammad Shabrawi
Mohamed Al Shabrawi from Egypt has served as Al Muftah Carpentry Sales Officer since 1996. Showing an extensive experienced in sales and marketing paired with his outstanding public relation skills, he later then promoted to the rank of Sales Manager ensuring profitable growth through positive planning, clearly identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to his sales team.
Mr. Abdul Azez Bapal
Abdul Aziz Bapal Maintenance Manager of Almuftah Carpentry from july 2010. A qualified Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Power Systems) & a vast technical experience of 20 long years under the belt. Established the Al Muftah Carpentry from the Grass root level & successfully bringing it in production. Along the years, successfully established Three full fledge Wood working set ups & Numerous Plastic related plants .Also maintaining it to the utmost level. Highly motivated, believing in Team work & maintain an excellent MAN – MACHINE-MANAGEMANT ,INTERFACE. Technically very sound & result oriented.
Mr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed
Mr. Ahmed Abd ELHamid from Egypt , joined Almuftah Carpentry in end of 2008 for the position Senior Accounts Officer Highly accomplished, versatile and respected professional presenting with Ten years of extensive experience and accomplishments within international companies, Bachelor degree from Alexandria university English section accounting department with grade Good 75%, CMA certified, responsible for Monthly MIS reports, Financial reporting & business analysis, Complete business overview & detailed analysis, Budgeting preparation in line with business management , Cost control to control actual cost, Highly qualified in dealing with oracle & Microsoft Great Plains, Maintaining Accounts Payables., Managing Accounts Receivables, Monitoring Cash flow situation and Handling all year end closing entries & external audit.
